Automatically Update N-able N-central Monitored Device Network Address

Description

This article describes how to automatically update the N-able N-central Network Address of a Monitored Device.

Environment

• N-able N-central
  

Solution

If the LocalIP Service has not been added, add it: 

1. Click Views > All Devices.

2. Under Network Devices, click Reset Filter.

3. Click the name of the device to open device details.

4. Click Monitoring > Status > Add.

5. Add the service settings and click Apply.

Enable "Update Monitored Address":

1. Click Views > All Devices.

2. Under Network Devices, click Reset Filter.

3. Click the name of the device to open device details.

4. Click Settings > Local Agent.

5. Select the checkbox next to Update Monitored Address.

6. Click Save.
