Solution

• The APC is indicating that the battery needs to be replaced as they only certify this for 3 years.
• There may be nothing wrong with the device but its up to you. It is a function of the APC software to warn you when the battery is old.
• Incidentally, if the battery was replaced, you have to manually set the replacement date.
