Description

This article explains a common issue that occurs when multiple Veeam Job Monitor services or multiple AMP services are running on one device. This causes a "201 Automation policy timed out" error.

Environment

  • N-able N-central9 or later
  • AMP-based services
  • Veeam Job Monitor

Solution

Veeam and AMP services typically have a default scheduled run time every 5 minutes. You may need to increase the scheduled run time to 20 minutes or more for each automation policy service. It may take a significant amount of time (up to 24 hours) to see if the services are providing the correct status.

  1. click the device name.
  2. click the service name (e.g. veeam job monitor)
  3. click the Service Details tab
  4. change the Scan Interval
  5. Save changes.
