Import Microsoft Entra ID users

With an N-central Multi-Instance Admin account, you can import Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) users to an N-central Multi-Instance. An Admin account allows you to:

  • Add and configure N-central data sources

  • Import users through Microsoft Entra ID

  • Manage User Roles

To import Microsoft Entra ID users

  1. Sign into the associated Microsoft Entra ID account.

  1. In the left navigation menu, the company from the Companies list, click Users, and then click Add Identity provider.

  2. Follow the directions to create an Microsoft Entra ID Application and set a Client Secret.

  3. When completed, click Next.

  4. Enter the following information from the App registrations and endpoints sections in Microsoft Entra ID:

    • Authentication code from URL: “OAuth 2.0 authorization endpoint”

    • Authentication token form URL: “OAuth 2.0 token endpoint”

    • Tenant Identifier: “Directory (tenant) ID”

    • Client Identifier: “Application (client) ID”

    • Client Secret

  5. Toggle on Set up automatic user imports, and click Next.

  6. In Azure, add the redirect URLs to the Azure Authentication page, and confirm when complete.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Complete the Microsoft Authentication process in Azure.

  9. When the Authentication is complete, click Next.

  10. Click Finish.

The Microsoft Entra ID SSO now appears as in Identity provider.
