Using a two-factor authentication backup code

If a user has lost their mobile device, or accidentally removed the TOTP authenticator app, they can log in to N-able using their saved backup verification codes.

After originally signing in to N-able, a list of ten backup codes was displayed. These should have been copied to a safe but accessible location.

During the login procedure, when prompted for the TOTP authenticator six-digit code, copy and paste one of the backup codes and click Login.
