Fully integrate MSP Manager with your Microsoft 365 Calendar
When configuring MSP Manager to integrate with your Microsoft 365 (M365) mailbox, you can select to fully integrate your M365 calendar with MSP Manager. This integration allows all MSP Manager calendar events to appear in your connected Microsoft account.
Make sure to disable the pop-up blocker in your browser before getting started.
- Navigate to Settings > Company Settings > Integrations and select Microsoft 365 from the Business Applications section.
- Click the plus icon
in the top right corner of the page.
- In the Microsoft pop-up window, enter your M365 email address and click Next.
- Enter your password in the next window and click Sign in, then follow the standard MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) process to enter and verify your code.
- Review the requested Microsoft permissions and click Accept.
- The Edit M365 Integration window displays basic information about the integration, including all applied permissions and their associated status.
In order for the integration to work successfully both ways, you must login to MSP Manager using the same email domain that is used for your M365 account. If these domains do not match, then the integration will not work correctly.
The prompt received when integrating your Microsoft 365 account with MSP Manager is a standard Microsoft Admin consent flow and is necessary to grant MSPM the permissions required to access the calendar(s) associated with your account. More information regarding application consent can be found in this article from Microsoft.
It is important to note that the granted consent is revocable in your Active Directory instance should you want or need to remove the access previously granted through this Admin consent flow.
The Green Check next to Read and write calendars in all mailboxes indicates the permissions have successfully been granted, and you can view all MSP Manager meetings, reminders and schedules in both your Microsoft and MSP Manager calendars.
