How to associate a customer in MSP Manager to a Different name in Xero

• Steps on how to link a customer in MSP Manager and Xero if they have different names.

Environment

• N-able MSP Manager

Solution

1. In your MSP Manager Dashboard
2. Click on Customers
3. Search the Customer you would like to link and select it
4. On the right side of the page beside the Add Customer button click on the drop down arrow beside Actions
5. Select Edit Customer
6. Scroll down and look for Accounting reference
7. Enter the name that is seen in Xero that you want to link
8. Click on Save Customer
